Spandau Ballet - Lifeline
Which do I love more: Tony Hadley’s dramatic head turns or Tony Hadley’s lovely cardigan?

The Mops - I’m A Mops
More delectable 60s group sounds from The Mops, taken from a very good 60s collection entitled “Japan Wild Favorites.” ”I’m A Mops” is a sweet little tune about being true to yourself in the face of adversity, made amusing by the slightly garbled English lyrics. I don’t intend to post much English-language stuff here, but I had to make an exception with this one.
And I am definitely putting “SO I AM JUST A MOPS” on a t-shirt.
I won’t make a habit of reblogging myself, but I think this song is going to make plenty of you quite happy.
INXS - Don’t Change
I love it when a song is all at once so heartbreaking and yet so uplifting.
Access are my new favourite band.
I’m excited to see the sisters at The Roundhouse tonight!
Split Enz - Next Exit
I thought I’d seen them all, but I keep finding new Split Enz videos. In this one we see Tim driving along in a cartoonish environment as his bandmates drive alongside him. It gets dark, they make scary faces, and then Tim falls out onto some dry ice to have an experience.
Noel showcases some exceptional and pointy sideburns throughout.
“I love my shirt, I love my shirt,
My shirt is so comfortably lovely.”
I feel like Donovan understands me.
Oh well, here it all is: 'Lunched Out' ›
12 songs written over the last year. From squatting and polyamory to christmas and food politics, but for me it feels as strikingly personal as it is earnestly trying to be political.

I would love to hear what you think. And feel free to share with anyone you think might like it, reblog etc.
I’m super interested in playing small gigs.. benefit shows, radical social centres, house shows, etc, and not so much bar shows. Around the UK currently, hopefully the US next year, then Europe.. so invite me round yeah?
Not high quality recording, but damnit it’s folk-punk or whatever

I am excited about this.
Such a cute game, such cute music.
