I have a new dress and I’m pretty sure it can grant me the power of flight.

Look at how perfect this H&M shirt is. I can’t spend £25 on a shirt though, I mean that’s half a week’s Jobseeker’s Allowance which I need for train tickets and spaghetti hoops.

My new blog is also going to house my dressing room adventures, because I fancy playing at fashion blogging occasionally. Here’s a post in which I wear clothes and ramble on about how magazines smell nice or something.

Dear H&M, I don’t have money but I am willing to pay for these jackets in blood.

I got to wear this lovely thing on my head again at Fashion in Motion yesterday. Olivier Saillard and all the models were really lovely and it was nice to see a show in which the models don’t just walk. They mimed putting on clothes and things like that and it was all a bit more theatrical and interesting than a standard fashion show. Then there were the simple white coats and sheets used to make lots of different garments just by being folded and tied in different ways. That was fascinating and I’m sure everyone went home and immediately made a bee line for their bed sheets to try it out.

Also, it was nice to see how all the volunteers dressed based on the fact that our only instruction was to wear as much black as possible. And the food was nice. I drank orange juice in a wine glass.

Nice.

I got these for Christmas, they’re so nice. I may or may not have gotten a little bit of pink hair dye on them.

I predict that feet will be a major fashion trend in 2012.
